Size: 6" x 6.2" photo size. The LAV-25 (Light Armored Vehicle) is an eight-wheeled amphibious armored reconnaissance vehicle utilized by the United States Marine Corps and Canadian Army. It was manufactured by General Dynamics Land Systems Canada, developed from the Canadian versions of the Swiss MOWAG Piranha 6x6 armored fighting vehicles. This photo is a part of the International Magazine Services photo archive, a Scandinavian editorial photo archive established in 1948 that evolved from older archives with images in the collection. The archive is well-preserved after being stored for a long time, and the images are now being sold individually.
