Vintage LAV-25 Photo

Size of the photo: 6" x 8.1" The LAV-25 (Light Armored Vehicle) is an eight-wheeled amphibious armored reconnaissance vehicle utilized by the United States Marine Corps and Canadian Army. Manufactured by General Dynamics Land Systems Canada, it was developed from the Canadian versions of the Swiss MOWAG Piranha 6x6 family of armored fighting vehicles. This photo is from the International Magazine Services (IMS) archive, an editorial photo collection in Scandinavia established in 1948. The archive, which contains rare and unique images, has been well-maintained in storage for many years.
